GOT [I]T!!

Finally purchased my Pink 4 Friday last night...sheesh!!! I'll be taking a test shoot as soon as it arrives!! =]

[P]ink Friday

So...It's Black...i mean PINK Friday. And of course Ms Nicki Minaj had 2 do something on her self proclaimed day since the actual "Pink Friday" cd release was on monday.

Well she made the perfect choice by teaming up with M.A.C. cosmetics for the new "Pink 4 Friday" lipstick color. The lipstick will only be on sale FRIDAYS ONLY from Nov. 26th - Dec. 17th @ M.A.C.'s website.

Of course me being a cosmetic fiend and lover of all things M.A.C. and all things pink, I tried to purchase it. [Keyword is TRIED] The lipstick went on sale at 12AM and by 1AM when i attempted to buy it, it was sold out!! Nicki is raking in the bucks something fierce this holiday season!! Bravo chica!!

Rest assured...I will be trying every friday until i get it. I'll keep you posted. ;]

The Alexander [M]cQueen Exhibit.

So today was the deadline for the 4th semester fashion design students to turm in their term garments. But of course, as FIT students know, the garmentswere to be based on Alexander McQueen designs for consideration for the AAS McQueen exhibition. [It's a BIG deal...] All of your hard work, time, money [in my case about $500 =X] and love goes into your garment in hopes of being selected.

But it's okay. I'll get over it. ANYWAY....i figured I would share my design w/ my fellow bloggers so that you know what had been consuming all of my time.

Fashion's Night Out last night was a MOVIE of #EPIC proportions!!!!!!!! [i was rocking the "Myrtle Urkel" as u can see in the pic]

Soho was a ZOOOOOO!!
Madison Ave. was a two-way street times three!!
5th Ave. was runway!!
The stars came OUT!!

It's safe to say im suffering from a fashion hangover already... i cant wait for the shows this week. I'll fill my fellow bloggers in as i go... CAN'T WAIT!!!

Today we helped Betsey Johnson celebrate her 68th Birthday!! WOW!!

The celebration was held at her Soho store. The party on Wooster Street was one to behold...Sweets and Treats galore!!
Me and the chicas had a blast as we stuffed our faces with deelish cupcakes, sorbet and other confections. Betsey even took the time to greet as many guests as she could before leaving in a bubblegum pink, mini cooper stretch limo. It was a great day...we even ran into Coco & Breezy (famous for their studded shades) as we left. Here are some pics 2 make u jelly....LOL.

[M]y Fairytale Ending..

I'm a Disney kid...grew up on it and, prayed my hardest that one day i'd find out that i really was a princess and then live the lavish fairyale life i was always meant to have. WELL....that just didn't happen...

I do still consider myself a princess [hence sweet royaltiii]...
But when do i get the "Happily ever after"??

This life is full of as many successes as failures, you never know what each day may bring. But i know that one day i'll see my creator and that's all the happy ending i could ever want. I'm not wishing for death but, when that day comes don't feel sad for me just consider my storybook to be over...

So it seems Saks is finally realizing that the female body does not stop at a size 10...

Seems like the racial and gender barriers weren't the only prejudices meant to be broken. Size is a BIG issue...we still have a way to go.

[S]ea World!!

Went to Orlando over the weekend to spend some time with my paternal fam....it was well needed quality time.

The icing on the cake was Sea World!!

The dolphin show made me teary eyed...(lol.. hush!) it truly amazed me to see how intelligent and beautiful God's creatures are. It even made me wish for a second that i had pursued marine biology instead of fashion!! [Changed my mind real quick when i thought of science class...]
