My First REAL Fashion Show!!!

Today yours truly had her clothing line (Dulcenea) featured in John Perry's fashion show featuring the John Perry Modeling Club...

It was a success (minus two Janet Jackson-ish wadrobe malfunctions...next time ill bring safety pins..)!!

Thanks to all the models for wearing my clothes well and thanks to John Perry for the opportunity!!

I just got in from celebrating my half birthday at the Ray Ban concert at South Street Seaport...

Although I was ready to leave, after waiting three hours in the HOT HAZY and HUMID weather (which turned into a thunderstorm), I stayed to see the one and only Kid Cudi. After some rain... sharing an umbrella with strangers who decide to pass around a Black n' Mild... lunch which included a gyro, cheese fries, and a hot dog... running into my cousin.. and five hours of my life flying out the window.... he FINALLY rocked the stage....
I'm in LOVE with him now!!! LOL <3


Once the clouds cleared up, the sunset was AMAZING!!
And I must say...it was wellllllllll worth it!!

Besides Kid Cudi (who even payed tribute to the late and great Michael Jackson), Chester French performed and Gym Class Heroes hung out on the sidelines...
After the concert was over we went to the tour bus and waited for Cudi to come by so we could snap a few pics. When he finally did go by, his security rushed him into the tour bus. But Cudi quickly turned right back around and started taking pics with his fans and signing their things. My friends and I almost got our ribs crushed by crazy fans screaming, "Cudi...sign my Yeezy's!!" and "Follow me on Twitter!!!"
...it was a hot mess....literally.

Me and my two amigas took plenty pics (i posted a few at the bottom) and enjoyed ourselves at the end of it all...

Today we lost the King of Pop...Michael Jackson...

No words can express the impact he's had on ALL music and pop culture...
I think almost anyone can relate when i say...it feels like I knew him personally...
He will be greatly missed...pray for his family...

Jimmy Choo is linking up with H&M and giving us a more affordable line of shoes this fall. Yea we'll have to wait until November 14 to get the full run down on prices and what not but, I'm hoping that it's worth the wait.

Me and the bestie are having boy talk...yea i said it....BOY TALK. 

And we just want to know one thing...WHY??? WHY..WHY..WHY??

WHY is it that boys don't know what a good girl looks like...

And if you say you do... YOU'RE LYIN!! Cuz if you knew what a good girl was, you wouldn't drop her for some next class-less, good-for-nothing, always-wants-to-argue, lame-excuse-for-a-girlfriend.

and.....we wanna know....

WHY is it that boys feel like they HAVE to lie....

Dude...if you didn't lie to me we wouldn't be having the very conversation that you thought you were avoiding by lying to me!!! It's a lose/lose situation for you because you shouldn't have messed up to begin with but at LEAST you could have saved the drama, headache, and sore throats by telling the truth!! The truth will set u free my brotha...

and last....(for today at least)....we wanna know...

WHY do boys avoid conversation....

If something is on your mind....say it!! If you aren't upfront with whatever is on your mind, we're gonna start asking "what's wrong with you" and "are you okay". Yea I kno you don't like when we ask that, but if we don't then how will we know?? If you start acting reserved and we don't know why, how are we supposed to know what to do??

 If you didn't like what i said yesterday...how will we know?? If your favorite pet frog died...how will we know?? If you need a hug...how will we know???

The "Double-Do"...Yes or No???

Now I know that trends are inevitable but are you feeling this one???

I call it the "Double-Do". This is when a person has two different "do's" goin on in their hair...(ex: the mullet).

The 2009 version of this  hair trend seems to be "half shaved/half long". So far its been seen on designer/dj, Kesh, R&B singer/model, Cassie and, Lala Vaquez (formerly of MTV's TRL). But I don't think this trend will end with them...this hair craze seems to be generating many fans...

 

Should this fad be embraced or shunned just as the infamous "mullet"

I don't kno what to think about it...so i ask you...YES or NO??
